Concept - a community workshop series and public exhibition built on one idea: making art with a child is not a way to fill and afternoon. it is a relationship-building practice, a gentle form of therapy, and a way of connecting a community. Drawing on the centuries-old image of a caregiver and a child in close, attentive relation, we reframe it for today; any parent, grandparent, guardian or carer, with any child, making something together with their hands.

Caregiver and child are not students producing work for critique. They are co-creators, and their process is the artwork. Their work is then shown publicly, turning private family moments into a shared portrait of care.
